You Have A Talent.

UHAT Foundation was created around a simple belief:

Talent deserves encouragement.

There are people throughout our community with creative abilities that may never have been fully discovered, developed or recognized.

UHAT exists to help change that.

As a nonprofit foundation in Aruba, we create opportunities for people to express themselves through visual and performing arts, develop their creativity and share their talents with others.

Our Mission

To discover, encourage and develop artistic talent in Aruba while creating meaningful opportunities for people to learn, create, perform and give thanks to God for the gifts they have received.

Our VISION

We envision a community in which people are encouraged to recognize their abilities, confidently develop them and use their creativity to inspire others.

We want UHAT to be a place where talent is welcomed, creativity is nurtured and people have genuine opportunities to be seen and heard.

Why UHAT Exists

What can YOU expect?

Not every talented person has access to a teacher, a stage, an exhibition space or someone who says:

“Keep going. You can do this.”

UHAT wants to provide that encouragement.

We believe that when people are given opportunities to create and participate, they can develop more than artistic ability. They can build confidence, discipline, connection and a greater appreciation for the gifts they possess.

Our Faith

Gratitude is at the heart of UHAT.

We believe our talents are gifts from our Creator and that developing and sharing those talents can be an expression of thanksgiving.

This belief inspires many of our activities and our annual Thanksgiving celebrations.

Our Community

UHAT is proudly rooted in Aruba.

Our programs and events bring together participants, artists, families, teachers, volunteers, sponsors and members of the wider community.

Together, we celebrate something our island has in abundance:

talent.

Our Story Continues

Every new artist who exhibits a piece of work, every performer who steps onto a stage
and every person who discovers a creative ability adds another chapter to the UHAT story. And there is much more still to come.
